2. Categories of Data Processed
Nanusens may process the following categories of personal data:
- Identification and contact details (name, surname, email address, phone number).
- Professional and academic information (curriculum vitae, cover letter, qualifications, experience, references).
- Any other information voluntarily provided by the candidate in the course of an application or recruitment process.
3. Purpose of Processing
Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- To manage and evaluate applications for current or future employment opportunities.
- To contact candidates in relation to recruitment processes.
- To maintain candidate information in our recruitment database for consideration in future vacancies (with prior consent).
- To comply with any legal or regulatory obligations.
4. Lawful Basis
The lawful basis for processing personal data is:
- The consent provided by the data subject when submitting an application.
- Nanusens’ legitimate interest in evaluating and selecting suitable candidates.
- Compliance with legal obligations, where applicable.
5. Data Retention
Personal data will be retained for no longer than 24 months from receipt of the application, unless the candidate requests erasure at an earlier date. After this period, data will be securely deleted.
6. Data Sharing
Personal data will not be shared with third parties except:
- When necessary for compliance with legal obligations.
- With service providers acting on behalf of Nanusens under strict contractual and confidentiality obligations.
No data will be sold or used for purposes other than those described herein.
7. International Transfers
Nanusens processes data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Should any international data transfers occur, Nanusens will implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR requirements (including Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Rights of Data Subjects
Candidates have the right to:
- Access their personal data.
- Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of personal data.
- Request restriction of processing or object to processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- File a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos – AEPD).
